OMG PANIC....

How worrying is it to think that every time you have your heating or hot water on that your back boiler is letting off Carbon Monoxide and you have no clue! they call it the silent killer.

Yesterday afternoon there was a strange smell coming from my back boiler behind my fire...minutes later i had the worst headache I have ever had. I took anadin extra as soon as it started but it only got worse, i turned the heating off but then later had to put the hot water on to bath the kids and I and then when i came back down stairs the smell was back and its like you had to fight through it.

had the guys out today to service it and fix it. he said it aint been serviced in years and that its definately been letting off CO as the amount of soot mounted round it is proof aparantly....and this is what is most likely to have caused the sore head! I mean, should I see a doctor to make sure I havent go CO Poisoning???!! Or do i just forget about it now its fixed?! Rachel and Anton were here at the time and rach was up three times last night, maybe she had a sore head from it too! i dread the bill coming through my door for that.....

argh!!!! rant over....for now!!!

I think you should go to the doctors, cause carbon monxide posioning is dangerous, happened to all the hollyoaks students this week, and they all got taken to hospital, and one was in a coma (ok thats not really life but just shows you what can happen)

doesnt stay in your system. dont need checked out...just luckily i had plenty of oxygen flow going through the house. ive to get a detector.
